I started a no-more-phones experiment 3 days ago and gave up all my smartphones and sim cards. One thing is for sure, I am enjoying my time a lot better and I feel a lot freer and lighter. I can go out with my husband, play with the kids, cook, work, Etc., without feeling like a device needs to go with me and must be well charged. One thing I miss is my music playlist on my phone that I had gotten accustomed to using for my weekly workouts. One thing that I’m not so happy with is that I started eating more than usual; almost as though food became the phone replacement. That I plan to stop no later than today. Starting a fruits and vegetables only detox diet and eating only 3 times daily. Plus my weekly workouts continue. A few things I recently needed from my phone – latest government contacts I exchanged just last week and private access codes that had been sent to my mobile number; but, if it’s mobile-phone-related, I’m working on finding ways to not “need” it. Finding other ways to ACHIEVE and succeed “needs” without mobile phones. Only wish we had exchanged emails rather than phone numbers. Will keep you updated.
