Power to us, Ogun State! Every voice, every vision, our victory. The future is ours to build and the time is now. It is time. Time to rise. We must win. -ỌMỌOG (Olatorera Majekodunmi-Oniru Ogun Governor)
The future of over 200 million great Nigerians depends on a better Nigeria achievable through the democratic installation of capable, ethical, determined and experienced leaders who are genuinely humanistic (in line with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights) and value scalable developments. 2027 brings about a new wave of elections in Nigeria of which the highest potential citizens must be ready to win the battle, take over the baton and lead painstakingly.
It is time for New Ogun. New Nigeria. New Africa.
It is time to take our nation off the world’s most impoverished list and lead the way as a productive, progressive, prosperous, and profitable example of a great nation. The failed system has had its time. 2027 must be the year we reclaim our nation for unprecedented progress.
Citizens of Ogun State, and all of Nigeria, must bring to an end, the criminal rigging of elections by a regressive class of false “progressives” and entrenched old-order politicians who have inhumanely clung to power for over 65 years. They have ruled without vision, without leadership, and often without originality, resorting to plagiarism, forged certificates, spiraling lies, thuggery and a litany of corrupt acts to sustain their grip on a system they have long broken. This must end. The time has come to rise boldly, united and powerful. Unfair elections? Genuine Progressives now know exactly what to do. Our future will not be stolen. We will claim it starting now.

We die too young – mentally and physically. Nigeria has one of the worst life expectancies in the world: 55 years (WHO estimate).
Over $400 billion stolen from Nigeria’s oil revenue since independence (UN estimate), at the catastrophic expense of human capital and infrastructure development.
Nigeria produces less than 4,500 megawatts of electricity for over 200 million people. This is less than what New York City alone generates for 8 million people.
Globally-heartbreaking, murderous-end of the End SARS Protests of 2020: The Nigerian army opened fire on peaceful protesters at Lekki Toll Gate –murdering many and shattering the dreams of hundreds of millions.
Overcrowded prisons with over 70% awaiting trial for years (Nigerian Correctional Service estimate).
Over 20 million Nigerian children are out of school- highest globally (UNICEF estimate).
Over 50 months of academic disruptions between 1999 and 2025 (ASUU estimate).
Nigeria often allocates less than 7% of its annual budget to education, far below the UNESCO-recommended 15–20%.
Naira has lost over 99% of its value against the US Dollar since 1980.
Respect, service and dignity are limited to a minority elite class with majority of Nigerians lacking access to basic healthcare, clean water, electricity, and education.
Frequent fuel scarcity despite being a top-10 oil producing country globally.
Severe acute malnutrition (SAM) affects over 2 million children under 5 annually (UNICEF estimate). One in three children is stunted due to chronic undernutrition. 10% of global child malnutrition deaths occur in Nigeria.
Nigeria accounts for 30% of global malaria cases and deaths (WHO estimate).

Nigeria today faces a deeply serious crisis where democratic processes have been violently hijacked, dissent is criminalized, and the will of the people is brutally suppressed, resulting in unspeakable hardship, widespread poverty, and countless untimely deaths.
When the truth is this clear and the cost this high, what will it take to choose new leaders with integrity?

Anne Pratt believes we have a leadership and existential crisis worldwide. The world is in a pivotal “Mandela Moment,” a twin pillar moment of despair and hope with global threats that transcend our national borders. National thinking cannot survive. Nelson Mandela transformed himself, changed a nation, and galvanized the world. As Mandela did for South Africa, today’s world needs a “super cognitive revolution and bold leadership—a revolutionary new way to think, act and lead.”
