UN Report: Gaza Conflict Leaves Over 21,000 Children Disabled

The United Nations has revealed a staggering humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where more than 21,000 children have been left disabled since the conflict reignited in 2023. With hospitals destroyed and medical supplies scarce, thousands of young survivors face a future without proper care, rehabilitation, or education. The UN warns Gaza risks becoming “the graveyard of international humanitarian law”, as civilian protections collapse under relentless bombardment. Human rights advocates argue the scale of disability highlights not only the war’s immediate devastation but also its enduring legacy entrenching poverty, trauma, and injustice for an entire generation of Palestinian children.
