Who Is Abu Sayeed Orakzai? How Was He Assassinated By The United States Government?

Abu Sayeed Orakzai also was known as Abu Saad Erhabi was the self-proclaimed leader and emir of the Islamic State–Khorasan, the affiliate of the ISIS terrorist group operating in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Abu Orakzai was believed to have led a force of about 2,000 fighters of the ISIS group.

Abu Orakzai was officially pronounced dead by the U.S military in August 2018. The U.S military confirmed that Abu Orakzai was targetted and killed among 10 people killed in a ground and air operation by Afghan and foreign forces during a strike on Nangarhar province near the Pakistan border which occurred on the 25th of August, making him the third leader of the Islamic State–Khorasan group to have been killed by U.S. forces since July 2016.
