The BET Awards was established by Black Entertainment Television to recognize the best in African-American culture, as well as an international category reserved for black music from outside the United States. The 18th BET Awards took place at Microsft Theatre in Los Angeles, California on the 24th of June, 2018. The ceremony which was hosted by Jamie Foxx celebrated achievements in entertainment and honors music, sports, television, and movies released between April 1, 2017, and March 31, 2018.
