The Octopus superyacht is a renowned world-class cruiser and it is one of the most well travelled yachts in the world. Octopus is one of the largest vessels in the world and it is said to be 126m (414ft). She is owned by Microsoft co-owner Paul Allen and it cost him about 200 million dollars to build her. The yacht is for those seeking a platform to view some of the world’s most inaccessible places.
The Octopus has a glass bottomed swimming pool located in one of its upper decks. This unique vessel also has many other major features like a cinema, a music recording studio, a hangar for two helicopters and a ten person submarine. There’s also an owner’s deck with a walk-in closet, study, outside bar and a whirlpool. There is accommodation for up to 26 guests in 13 cabins and 63 crew across 30 cabins. The yacht has explored the coast of Antarctica, recovered the ship’s bell from the wreck of the HMS Hood and also discovered of the wreck of the WWII battleship IJN Musashi off the Philippines.
