Michael Avanatti is one of the lawyers that famed President of the United States Of America, Donald Trump, hates most. According to Avanati’s official biography, he is an attorney, commentator and entrepreneur based in Los Angeles, California. Throughout his career, he has been responsible as lead counsel for over $1 Billion in verdicts and settlements, including many well in excess of $10,000,000. Avenatti lived throughout the United States while growing up but ultimately attended high school in St. Louis, Missouri. Michael graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia with a major in Political Science.
He subsequently attended law school at George Washington University, where he graduated Order of the Coif, first in his class. Immediately following law school, Michael began working at O’Melveny & Myers in Los Angeles, alongside Daniel Petrocelli, who previously represented the Goldman family in its case against O.J. Simpson. In 2007, Michael formed the law firm Eagan Avenatti, LLP (fka Eagan O’Malley & Avenatti, LLP), with offices in Newport Beach, Los Angeles and San Francisco. In 2015, Michael prevailed against the National Football League after a two-week jury trial in Federal District Court in Dallas, Texas after obtaining a court order requiring Jerry Jones to attend trial and be cross-examined. The Below are 3 Reasons Why We May Like Avenatti as we watch the Trump Era of Politics Unfold in The USA:
- He fights for Women’s rights and he is well qualified to
His most notable clients today are Stephanie Clifford (Stormy Daniels) who claimed Trump cheated on his wife with her and later tried to buy her silence to ensure he gets elected as president of the USA; and Julie Swetnick who claims Trump’s 2018 nominee for the Supreme Court Judge, Brett Kavanaugh, was at a party where she was raped years ago. Avenatti is the lawyer supporting Swetnick to prove her case.
- He speaks his mind, courageously. Mostly against mis-behaviors of Donald Trump. Some of Avenatti’s statements:
“Regardless of your politics, you should be outraged by the POTUS standing before a crowd and mocking a woman who claims she was sexually assaulted.
@realDonaldTrump sought applause and laughter at her expense. Call him what he is – a misogynist pig with no respect for women.”
In September 2018, Avenatti posted on Twitter: “’False accusations?’ Like those crimes your fixer Cohen pled to? You are an habitual liar and complete narcissist who also is a disgrace as a president and an embarrassment to our nation. You are so inept that your ‘best and brightest’ are Cohen and Giuliani. Let’s go,” in response to Trump’s : “Avenatti is a third rate lawyer who is good at making false accusations, like he did on me and like he is now doing on Judge Brett Kavanaugh,” Trump wrote. “He is just looking for attention and doesn’t want people to look at his past record and relationships – a total low-life!”
- He has ambitions to he president of The United States Of America
When asked about his political ambitions in September 2018, Avenatti stated “It’s not about my ego and wanting to be president of the United States, it’s about whether I have the ability to potentially help solve this nightmare, this dumpster fire of an administration, and help us push the reset button and instill some respect and dignity back to the Oval Office and America’s standing, both domestically and abroad.”
