Alexander Okafor is a Nigerian-American footballer who currently plays as a football defensive end for the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League NFL. The 27-year old American born talented athlete who was recognized in 2008 as an All-American by the USA Today Newspaper, began his successful career at a very young age also playing soccer and basketball which he excelled at.

Apart from his slight brush with the law in Austin, Texas which involved his arrest for evading arrest on foot and a misdemeanour warrant for jaywalking, the All-American footballer has received several awards for his outstanding performances such as the Bronko Nagurski Trophy, Bednarik Award, Lombardi Award, and CFPA Defensive Lineman Trophy.
