Dr. Frederick Fasehun was a notable leader in Nigeria. Frederick Fasehun founded the notable Oodua Peoples Congress, an organization that brokered peace, security and economic progress in Nigeria. Frederick Fasehun passed on from old age at the age of 83 in December 2018.  Top 3 achievements of Frederick Fasheun:

  1. Fought for Democracy and against military dictatorship in the 1990s as a member of NADECO (National Democratic Coalition) of Nigeria
  2. Frederick Fasehun once campaigned to be president of Nigeria under The Unity party. Frederick Fasheun had ambitions to significantly alleviate poverty and bridge the wealth gap in Nigeria.
  3. Frederick Fasehun fought against the annulment of Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola’s June 12  presidential win through his establishment of Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC). He was jailed for 19 months by Sani Abacha from 1996 to 1998 for this fight.
