Vladimir Putin, current President of Russia, was posted to work in Germany at the young age of 33. Now within his 7th decade of life, he is one of the most notable leaders in the world. According to a memo from Russia Kremlin Spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, “The KGB and the Stasi were partner intelligence agencies so you probably can’t rule out an exchange of such identity cards.” The Stasi Records Agency also released a statement on Tuesday, December 11th, 2018 that indicated Mr Putin “received the pass so that he could carry out his KGB work in co-operation with the Stasi.” Vladimir Putin was a spy agent from KGB for the Stasi (Secret Police For The East German Communist Government) sent to pro-democracy East German territory.
