Zoox’s Robotaxi: A New Era of Driverless Rides in Las Vegas

Zoox, the autonomous-vehicle company owned by Amazon, has officially launched a fully driverless robotaxi service in Las Vegas. The sleek, purpose-built vehicles designed without steering wheels or pedals carry up to four passengers on short trips to landmarks such as Resorts World, AREA15, and the Luxor. Outfitted with advanced sensors, the taxis promise safer navigation in busy city traffic. For now, rides are complimentary while regulators review fare approvals, but pricing is expected to rival Uber and Lyft. The launch positions Amazon as a strong contender in the fast-growing driverless transport industry.
