Mercer, the world’s largest human resources consulting firm released its annual Cost of Living Survey, with over 200 cities included. Its report is one of the influential and comprehensive of its kind because it helps multinational companies and government design expatriates compensation packages for their employees and manage international assignments cost. Also, it provides an indication to potential experts looking to determine how expensive their new country could be to live in.
The 209 cities were ranked based on housing, transportation, utilities, food, domestic supplies, home services, personal care, clothing and footwear, recreation and entertainment and Alcohol and tobacco.
