The Presidential Candidate of the opposition party Atiku Abubakar has made promises to privatize the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) if he gets into power in 2019. He made this known on Wednesday, January 16 while addressing the business community in Lagos. Atiku promised to take this action after being elected as the President, even if doing so would cost him his life.
