Who Is Summy Smart Francis Of Africa’s Young Entrepreneurs And AYEEN TV Show?

Summy Smart Francis, the current president of Africa’s Young Entrepreneurs (AYE) is a Nigerian entrepreneur and philanthropist, dedicated to bettering the lives of Nigerian youths and managing the youths biggest nightmare- unemployment by supporting young entrepreneurs through grants, training, equipment, and mentorship through his program called Africa’s Young Entrepreneurs Empowerment Nigeria  (AYEEN). AYEEN is ranked as the largest entrepreneurship network in the world by the Global Entrepreneurship Institute.

He started his first business venture at a young age of 14 where he worked at his Father’s hotel in Lagos Nigeria. At 17, he was saddled with the challenging task of managing one of the branches- Mullard Hotel. In 2008 Mr. Francis formed Alien rights organization which advises and protects the rights of Aliens in foreign countries. He also works very closely with charity organizations that benefit the youth.

Through the AYEEN program (Read: Olatorera Oniru and Kabiru Rabiu Serve As Guest Judges For 2018 AYE TV Show), Francis supports hundreds of Small/Medium businesses and also idea stage founders. Every year, thousands of Africans pitch their business ideas and AYEEN ensures that quite a number of them are supported with either grants, network or exposed to matured markets. As part of the program, AYEEN also airs a TV program that sits 4-5 judges and gives feedback to these business owners.

Mr. Francis is a persistent and determined entrepreneur and his extraordinary characteristics of self-confidence and creativity have given rise to his successful enterprises. He is the Chairman and Chief Investor of SSF investments, and he sits on board of several companies as a non-Executive Director.
