There is a hotel called King Fahd that could have made this list but didnt. Several negative reviews online led us to believe this hotel once stood tall but may have outlived its glorious days. It is a hotel frequently visited by who’s who in politics across Africa. Former presidents of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan have lodged there. Also very recently, the hotel hosted the president of Equitorial Guinea, Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo. Nonetheless, there are lots of complaints about the service, cleanliness of the rooms and the ammenities. We will not recommend King Fahd hotel.
