Public accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, on September 27th, 2018, swore that she is 100% sure Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her in 1982 at a party with over 4 people in attendance. A few hours later, Brett Kavanaugh, POTUS Donald Trump’s nominee for supreme court judge of the United States, took the stand. Through the course of his public testimony, Kavanaugh cried over four times publicly in a room filled with blaring eyes, as he was being video-tapped for the world-at-large viewing live through media channels such as CNN and Fox News.
The first instance whereby Kavanaugh cried and paused and then cried a bit more was when he spoke of his daughter. Kavaunaugh said his daughter once said “Daddy, we should pray for the woman.” The second instance whereby Kavanaugh cried was when he proclaimed “All my life I’ve never been accused of anything of this kind … and that’s because nothing of this kind ever happened.” America is politically on fire as the truth is very difficult to investigate in this case. Both testimonies are very strong from Ford testifying she was terrified, she felt as though Kavanaugh would accidentally kill her and she has had Post-Traumatic Sex Disorder (PTSD) ever since the rape incidence. The one issue with Ford’s testimony is the fact that she has no recollection whatsoever of how she got home that day – yet she didnt drink.
Over 20 minutes into his testimony, Kavanaugh cried a third time and it was glaringly visible that many people in the audience behind him were truly moved by his testimony. “In 9th grade, I started keeping calendars of my own .. I’ve kept such diaries for the past 38 years… Summer of 1982 … I was not there. When I was in town, I spent much of my time working, lifting weight or having beer with friends” Kavanaugh said as he cried emotionally. Brett Kavanaugh cried a fourth time “This past week, my friends and I have cringed … when we heard about [this case] or talked to each other…”The crying continued. Truly a historic hearing and a significant day in American political history. The “Me Too” era continues. Both parties deserve to be heard – this case must be thoroughly investigated by the FBI. The truth must prevail with urgency.
