According to SaharaReporters, Billionaire kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike a.k.a Evans, who was brought to Igboshere High Court sitting in the Lagos Island, facing several counts of charges bordering on kidnapping and unlawful possession of firearms, refused to come down from the prison van (black maria) to enter the court. Evans stayed put in the prison van until the sitting judge, Justice Adedayo Akintoye ordered that he should be bundled into the court.

It was also gathered from the prison warder that Evans had earlier refused to follow them from prison and had to dragged.
