5 years old Lina Medina was the youngest woman in recorded history to give birth from rape of which her father was arrested but released due to insufficient evidence at the time. In 2020, Renua Giwa Amu, a young, talented and beautiful artist told her story on Facebook. In her own words, she was continually raped by her father until she had a possible miscarriage at the age of 7 and almost died of sepsis. Renua was a passionate advocate for Nigeria’s Endsars. She committed suicide shortly after telling her story.

Young girls who are sexually abused go through puberty much faster and earlier than their unabused peers. Puberty is accelerated by sexual contact and has affected children as early as 6 months old! 70% of child sexual molestation is perpetrated by fathers or father figures. Young girls worldwide are being raped from birth, with survival of such, resulting in, health complications, unwanted pregnancies, depressing childhoods and slave mentalities.

Why do men rape? Why do fathers rape their little girls? In 2018, a man caught raping his 9 months old baby blamed his act on a drunken, uncontrollable urge for sexual pleasure due to a life of deep frustrations and pain. Another said he felt it was normal as his daughters beauty reminded him of his wife’s which he is entitled to. Rape isn’t just sex, it seems it is a toxic cycle for power and control by any means including violence, deception, bribe and miseducation.” Many rapists derrive power from abusing victims especially daughters who exhibit the purest form of innocent love.

Olatorera’s Concluding Remarks:

Unabused children tend to have higher self-esteem, greater independence and overall contentment and success with life. We want success for every single child. Consensual pleasure is a human right to every living thing and every adult must understand that children do not have the mental wisdom or educational strength to give their consent in most situations. Healthy child development, freedom of human nature and greater humanity are three keys to a better world today. Our world needs a much stronger dosage of healthy love, consensual pleasure and happiness.
