Electronic Voting (E-Voting), is the use of electronic means to either aid or take care of casting and counting votes. Electronic voting systems offer advantages compared to other voting techniques, in terms of, security and reliability, accessibility and accuracy. After the Nigerian 2019 election, there is a need to introduce E-Voting in Nigeria, due to bribery and thuggery, inaccessibility, and the unreliability of results.

Prof. Olanrewaju Fagbohun, Vice -Chancellor, Lagos State University (LASU) says the conduct of elections by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) through Electronic voting is possible in Nigeria. He stated all that was required was timely preparation, a sincerity of purpose and a desire by all stakeholders to make it work. According to him, there was nothing intended to do in the era of technology that could not be simplified, as technology had made everything easy.
Furthermore, he noted that many other countries have been conducting their elections through electronic voting, adding that it was not difficult or impossible for Nigeria to do. However, Is E-Voting feasible in Nigeria?
