A case brought before Chief Magistrate Olufolake Oshin at Igbosere Magistrate Court, Lagos, has revealed The Lagos Continental Hotel’s lawsuit against 5 employees. Lagos Continental indicated that the following employees stole over 3 million Naira of customer sales from the hotel between the months of April and August 2018. The employees are Precious Ijidolire, 40; Emmanuel Okoro, 39; Christ Oladipupo, 39; Adekunle Oshofisan 33; and Adeyinka Ojo, 32. The accused have pleaded not guilty and the case has been adjourned to end of November 2018. The oldest of them, Precious Ijidolire is a senior accountant and editor at the company.
Continental Hotel Lagos has been marred with scandals since they launched in Lagos, Nigeria in 2013 as part of the Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) family.
