Big Brother Naija show series is set to hold again for the 4th time after three accomplished seasons. The BBNaija 2019 season 4 edition begins soon and will be held in Nigeria. Prior to this new development, South Africa has been the host country in which the contestants would live in. Consequently, the organizers of Big Brother Naija received a lot of backlash for the house being situated and the programme being shot in South Africa despite having all Nigerian housemates. The backlash prompted Nigeria’s Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, to respond to the matter. He urged concerned Nigerians to remain calm, adding that he has instructed the National Broadcasting Commission to investigate why the show is hosting in South Africa.
Good news! BBNaija Season 4 is going to be hosted in Nigeria and the audition will take place in Nigeria. The audition states includes; Lagos, Port Harcourt, Calabar, Warri, Abuja, Delta, Ibadan and Benin. The audition is absolutely free and has been scheduled to commence on 1st and 2nd of February, 2019. Popular media personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu will remain the host of the Big Brother Naija show series for Season 4.
