Nigerian billionaire business magnate and investor, Idahosa Okunbo, who is the owner of Ocean Marine Security Ltd and several other companies in Nigeria is one of the most controversial figures in Nigeria’s politics. His companies Ocean Marine Security Ltd and PPP Fluid Mechanics were subjects in one of Nigeria’s biggest corruption scandals involving Deziani Alison Madueke under former president Goodluck Jonathan’s administration.
Okunbo among others embezzled billions of dollars belonging to the Nigerian government through oil contracts from the NNPC, spearheaded by Deziani all under the authority of Goodluck Jonathan. Investigations have been ongoing on the series of corrupt deals that the above parties since they were exposed but till this day no final verdict has been pronounced on any of the parties for their corrupt dealings. It is all too well known that most of these high profile corruption scandals involving the caliber of high profile politicians are slowly and quietly swept under the rug over the years begging the question of where these politicians are today.
We know they are not in prison serving out any sentence for their crimes which are forever pending in court.
