Press Release: Olatorera Oniru Set To Speak At Youth Connekt 2018 In Kigali, Rwanda This October

The Youth Connekt Africa Summit is back again! The second edition of the summit organized by the Government of Rwanda through the Ministry of youth and in collaboration with African Development Bank, One UN Rwanda and the African Union Commission, is set to hold at the Kigali Convention Centre, Rwanda on the 8th-10th of October 2018, under the theme “Connekting Youth for Continental Transformation.” The first edition hosted by His Excellency, Paul Kagame of Rwanda, had over 4,000 people in attendance including speakers Jack Ma, Founder of Alibaba.com and Akon, Singer and Founder of Lightning Africa.

This year’s edition will also feature a “Connekted Girls Hub” organized by the UN Women Rwanda, aimed at celebrating achievements, acknowledging progress and sharing knowledge on how to increase community involvement in the empowerment of women and girls.
