On Saturday, July 2nd, 2022, Adebola Daniel, son of Gbenga Daniel, former governor of Ogun state, got married to Morenikeji Ademiju, at a full day ceremony. The court wedding, traditional engagement and main wedding reception all took place on the same day at the event Hall of Marriott Hotel Ikeja.

Gbenga Daniel was recently selected under the APC party as representative Senator for the 2023 General elections. In attendance at the wedding were Ooni of Ife Ogunwusi, Former Governor Donald Duke, Former Senator Lanre Tejuoso, Justice Olatokunbo Majekodunmi, Princess Olatorera Majekodunmi-Oniru and others.
