Education is a lifelong pursuit of individual creatives striving to fit into a four-walled system of academics and contributing their necessary quota to graduating with good grades and a certificate or degree that signifies attendance.

Using Nigeria as a case study, I think it’s unnecessary torture and time wasting that we take up education as the centre of our productivity. We’re too dysfunctional to keep wasting time and subjecting our youths to a system that, in the long run, holds no water and majorly, these youths battle with exorbitant tuition rates and every other expense attached to schooling in an institution. If you ask me, I’d say that if circumstances prove tough, then let schooling wait while you discover your world and what you can do with your hands. See what it’s like to test dangerous waters. Heck, learn a trade and make money from it. Save your pennies then go back to school (if you still want to).
If the educational system stands in your way of a flexible life, then take the issue to social media, because reviewing statistical records, this is one of the only ways the government pays attention to her citizens. Also, a lot of people who frequent the web live for an opportunity to air their views on a lot of cyber drama, there isn’t just any openings. This would be a platform where the young and old would gladly air their views on why Nigeria makes organized schooling a full time job when there are a lot of creatives who would thrive more in the school of hard knocks rather than in the restrictive lecture theatres they currently sit at
There is so much that lies beyond the four walls of education, so much school would never teach you, something I’d call EXPERIENCE THAT CANNOT BE SOLD.
