Who Is Mallam Salihu Isa Nataro?

Salihu Isa Nataro is a politician from Northern Nigeria. The Kebbi State indigene is a member of the leading All Progressives Congress (APC) Party. As a leading member of APC prior to the 2015 elections, Salihu Isa Nataro is a key commentator on political affairs of the state. In 2015, he ran unsuccessfully for the position of Governor of Kebbi State, losing to Abubakar Atiku Baguda. Since losing the elections in 2015, he has sought a close relationship with President Muhammadu Buhari, Northern Cabals and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.

Salihu Isa Nataro’s Remarks on Nigeria’s 2023 Presidential Elections:

Salihu Isa Nataro has insisted strongly that Northern Nigeria prefers Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to lead the country after 2023 as opposed to APC Godfather Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Salihu’s words: “This development is hardly surprising. Osinbajo simply has no problem, as Nigerians would key into his usual jocularity. The man has nearly all what it takes to make a very good president for Nigeria. He is humble, almost self-effacing, a team player, a loyal follower of his principal and above all, very intelligent and self-controlled. Beyond this, he is not loud at all, which is very unlike most politicians in Nigeria and elsewhere in the tempestuous democratic world. He is simply just the type of man that can heal the high political temperature in the country right now in which a stranger to Nigeria may feel that the country will break up the next day.”
