Nigerian Pastor Timothy Oluseun Omotoso is the senior pastor of Jesus Dominion International, based in Durban, South Africa which is the Church arm under his Tim Omotoso Global Outreach (T.O.G.O), with branches across South Africa, France, the UK which also holds crusades all over the world, including Nigeria. He is also the founder of a 24-hour satellite TV station called Ancient of Days Broadcasting Network (ADBN), which airs across the Caribbean, Africa, Mexico, Middle East, Europe and the US. He initiated a youth project in South Africa called “Youth Empowerment Project” (YEP), under which he has mentored a number of music groups who have composed their own songs and produced albums under his guidance.
The once beloved Pastor who has been devoted to the Christian ministry since his childhood when he began playing musical instruments at the age of 10 claiming he was taught to do so by the Lord, is now a subject of public scrutiny due to his public trial for alleged rape, sexual assault and human trafficking. He is currently facing trial at the Port Elizabeth high court after being arrested by the South African priority crimes unit for rape and human trafficking on the 20th of April 2017 at the Port Elizabeth airport.
Pastor Omotoso is said to have serially abused his young victims whom he groomed and began abusing from the tender age of 14, over a lengthened period of time shielding his abominable acts behind the pulpit. It has been reported that over 30 young girls have come forward with sordid details of their experiences at the hands of the pastor who has long been a sexual predator. The 60-year-old Pastor is currently facing life imprisonment if he is found guilty by the court, however, with more witnesses including male victims presently coming forward to testify against him, things are certainly not looking good for him.
Pastor Omotoso is just another example of the many devious predators manipulating and harming innocent people all under the guise of Christianity. It will certainly do the whole world good if he is put behind bars where the court triumphs against him for his disturbing crimes, and his church which has been a front for despicable acts shut down. It is fairly obvious that one who is completely innocent of such acts will not have multiple witnesses telling otherwise against him.
