Rochas Okorocha is a Nigerian Politician from Imo state, who won the 6 May 2011 gubernatorial election in Imo State and was reelected for the second term on April 11, 2015. Rochas Okorocha has been removed as the party’s coordinator of its presidential campaign council in the state. This was announced on Sunday by the National Working Committee of the All Progressive Congress(APC).

The APC National Public Secretary, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, noted that Okorocha could not be part of the party’s strategic meetings since he had publicly worked against the party’s interest. Prior to this, Okorocha vowed to work in the interest of the governorship ambition of his in-law, Uche Nwosu, who is the candidate of the Action Alliance(AA), against Hope Uzodinma of the APC.
