As Omicron, the Quarter 4 2021 variant of the COVID-19 pandemic, gains global awareness, the Governor of Lagos State, Nigeria, has released a list of social guidelines for the 2021 to 2022 holiday season.

Mandates From The Lagos State Government:

• Proof of vaccination must be presented prior to attending social events.
• Unvaccinated attendees must present a negative Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test conducted on them within 72 hours before showing up at public events.
• Every social gatherings in Lagos State must obtain registration permit from the Lagos State Safety Commission.
• Occupancy rate at events must not exceed 60% of the maximum capacity of any event centre.
