The country currently with the longest fly-over bridge in the whole of the West African region is none other than the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The fly-over bridge which was just recently constructed and completed under President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration is located in the Sabon Gari region of Kano State and referred to as the Sabon Gari fly-over which has been measured to be 2 kilometres long. The fascinating bridge was completed under the administration of the incumbent Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje despite several public multi-million dollar bribery allegations against him.

The bridge is set to be officially commissioned by President Buhari in December 2018 making history as West Africa’s longest fly-over bridge completed by the controversial governor and commissioned under Buhari’s government. Nigerians would agree that amongst the many things disapproved of in Buhari government this certainly sets a huge positive record for the incumbent president’s administration.
