List Of 2019 Appointees To Nigeria’s Independent Corruption Practices Commission (ICPC) Board Including A 27 Years Old Woman

The Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC Nigeria), is a Nigerian agency that was inaugurated on 29 September 2000 by former president Olusegun Obasanjo. The commission was setup to minimize deliberate corruption across the country. According to ICP, “Corruption in Nigeria undermines democratic institutions, retards economic development and contributes to government instability. Corruption attacks the foundation of democratic institutions by distorting electoral processes, perverting the rule of law, and creating bureaucratic quagmires whose only reason for existence is the soliciting of bribes.” ICPC’s goal therefore, is to investigate and fully prosecute such acts in accordance with the Nigerian law.

2. Hannatu Muhammad (Youngest on the board, representing youths. According to the ICPC Nigeria Act, one youth must be appointed to the board and must be no older than 30 years old.)
