Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Nigeria is set to announce the official results of the 2019 State Elections on or before March 11th 2019. Preliminary analytics from results of section wards indicate that Dapo Abiodun has been elected Governor of Ogun State. Dapo Abiodun of All Progressives Congress (APC) Party was up against Adekunle Akinlade of Allied People’s Movement (APM) Party supported by current governor Ibikunle Amosun and Buruji Kashamu of People’s Democratic Party (PDP). Prior to his political ambitions to be Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun was a known business mogul and Chief Executive of Heyden Petroleum.

In a short speech Dapo Abiodun shared on social media in the early hours of Sunday, March 10th, 2019, the Governor-elect seems very Jubilant. Dapo Abiodun said ” Unspeakable Joy. Limitless Happiness. We are GRATEFUL to GOD almighty and the good people of Ogun State.”

Congratulations to a great leader. Do much better than every man that has held the position before you. The people of Ogun State deserve greatness. Omo Ogun Ise ya!
