The results are currently being announced in Abuja by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) with 15 of Nigeria’s 36 states already announced. The People’s Democratic Party, has rejected the yet to be concluded result of the presidential election, allegeding that the results being announced do not tally with what the party has collated across the country.

In a statement released by Uche Secondus, the chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, he accused the officials of APC of colliding with INEC officers, having altered and manipulated figures for results already announced at polling units and local government where the PDP had commanded votes. Furthermore, he claimed the INEC IT server was hacked by agents of the APC to manipulate results. However, he urges the leadership of INEC to remain transparent and impartial in their duties as the whole nation is looking up to them for clean and genuine results.
