Politics In Nigeria 2018: Primary Elections In Osun State Ended Unusually Inconclusive

Ademola Adeleke, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), polled 254,699 ahead of Isiaka Oyetola of the APC who had 254,345 votes which clearly shows Senator Ademola Adeleke won by 354 votes but according to the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) the result was declared inconclusive and this was because the number of cancelled votes: 3,498, exceeded the difference between the two leading parties which is 354.

Ademola Adeleke also known as the dancing senator got a very big influence during his campaign by his superstar Nephew, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido. I would say this is one of the strongest election of this year because it actually showed how powerful an influence can change peoples opinion and how powerful the peoples vote are.  The election was actually a free and fair one but the opposing party was clearly not satisfied by the results. There was a video clip that showed how some votes were stolen all to drain Senator Adeleke down.

The election was further postponed and would hold on the 27th of September, 2018 and definitely Senator Ademola Adeleke would win again because he is the peoples choice.
