Kola Aluko, Nigerian business man and former oil magnate, lived his highest life from year 2007 when his companies witnessed significant growth till year 2015 when it all came crashing down. Kola Aluko’s story of wealth began when he ventured into Nigeria’s topmost industry, oil and gas, and grew massively when he found his way into Nigeria’s Former Minister of Petroleum, Diezani Alison madueke’s circle.

Some of the companies Kola Aluko owned include Besse Oil, Fossil Resources, Exoro Energy, Seven Energy and Atlantic Energy.

Aluko got entangled in what can be regarded as one of the worst corruption scandals in the history of Nigeria. At a time when Aluko was getting closer to celebrating his 5th decade on earth, he became a most wanted man. While majority of Nigerians suffered in extreme poverty, Kola Aluko was awarded contracts that enabled him to manage a portion of the Nation’s oil wealth. He is said to have squandered hundreds of millions of dollars in procuring assets abroad for himself and his allies. He allegedly bought properties for former girlfriend Naomi Campbell and spent over $1 million on Leonardo Di Caprio’s 39th Birthday. He was frequently seen around with Jamie Foxx and rented his yatch (Galactica Star) to Jay-Z and Beyonce. He also also been tied to Mo Abudu of Ebonylife TV, Sean ‘P.Diddy’ Combs and Ozwald Boateng whom he co-founded Made In Africa foundation with.

Aluko was owner of one of the world’s most expensive luxury yachts, 132 houses, over 58 cars and three airplanes.

When it All came crashing down, Kola Aluko became a wanted man, hiding away in Mexico, covered in gangsta tattoos. Many of his assets including his luxury watches and several homes, have been taken away from him. In addition, many of his rich friends have since moved forward and far away from him.
