Teleology Holdings Limited secures 9mobile deal, as telecommunications industry continues to struggle in Nigeria. 9mobile, formerly Etisalat Nigeria has officially been taken over by telecommunications investment body, Teleology, as of Novermber 12th, 2018. Teleology announced through media communications that the deal was officially confirmed. Chairman of the company, oil-made billionaire from the Emir Royal Family in Kano, Nasiru Ado Bayero said “As we begin this new epochal phase, we wish to thank all the employees who built this viable business (9mobile). Our debt of gratitude also goes to our subscribers even as we assure them to get ready for real best-in-class additional value for their relationship with the 9mobile brand. Without you, there could not have been a 9mobile business for us (teleology) to invest in today.” Teleology was setup as a special purpose company for the sole purpose of the 9mobile buyout. Telecommunications company, Lars Magnus Ericsson Nigeria, and other foreign stakeholders were part of the Teleology process of buying out 9mobile.
