Alex Zingman (Zigman, Sigman), 58, is an ambitious political-businessman who found ways to financially enrich himself through political ties across Africa with deals ranging from arms/weapon/defense equipment sales to agricultural and mining contracts. He was born on November 26th, 1966. He is married to Mrs Zigman.
Between his foundational upbringing in Belarus, to his dual citizenship with America, to his luxurious residential living in Dubai, his presidential ties across over 15 African countries, have sustained his lifestyle and global network expansion. African countries of which he has formulated past and present presidential relationships with include Zimbabwe, Democratic Republic of Congo, Nigeria, Uganda, Zambia, Mozambique, Malawi, Burkina Faso, Egypt, Kenya and Togo. Uganda is increasingly regarded as one of the top buyers of weapons from Belarus.
In the Democratic Republic of Congo in2021, Aleksandr Sigman was arrested and detained alongside closest Junior associate, Oleg Vodchits, and business partner Paolo Persico, for 12 days in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Details surrounding the arrest and detention are not widely publicized. Zigman’s most notable legal representative today is Daniel Delnero of BGD Legal and Consulting USA. In Zimbabwe, where he has built a stronger presidential since 2016, Alex Zingman was alleged to be a dubious co-owner of Zim Goldfields and Midland Goldfields Limited, in partnership with Viktor Sheiman, a former President of Belarus’ Property Management Directorate and Viktor’s son, Sergei Sheiman. In November 2020, few months into the mining agreement, ten “illegal” gold miners, citizens of Zimbabwe, were buried alive at a mining site attributed to “Zimgold fields”. Zimgold Field’s riverbed mining has since been banned by Zimbabwe’s government.
In 2025 Nigeria, where he has easily fostered one of his strongest African presidential ties, Alex Zingman attended an event with Bola Tinubu in Abuja, where Bola identified Zigman as a former classmate of his in Chicago. Nigerian journalists immediately identified the information to be false and misleading as the age gap between Bola and Alexander are too wide for them to have a classmate relationship. Bola was said to have illegally attained the position of President of Nigeria with several allegations of falsified achievements, forged certificates, perjury with age and upbringing and other criminal allegations. Aleksandr Zigman’s networking journey in Nigeria led him to Okey Oramah, president of Afrexim Bank, who then introduced Zigman to Aliko Dangote, dubbed the richest man in Africa.
Alex Zingman is owner of private jet Embraer Legacy 600 with registration number M-ABEC, previously registered in the Isle of Man and later transferred to Dubai, UAE.
