Tony Ezenna is one of Nigeria’s billionaires, well connected within the political circles of the country. Well into his 6th decade of life, Tony Ezenna hails from Akokwa, Imo State, Nigeria. Imo state is the 5th largest state contributing annually to Nigeria’s GDP. Tony Ezenna’s journey to wealth began in 1988 when he ventured away from his employment at Eastern Industrial Chemist and started his company, Orange Drugs Nigeria Limited. Tony Ezenna toiled as an entrepreneurial boss over the years, securing Orange Drugs Limited’s first corporate office in 2001. Orange Drugs Limited distributes pharmaceutical and beauty products to Nigerians from countries such as Indonesia, Germany, Italy and the United States.

 

In 2006, Orange Drugs ventured into local manufacturing and later expanded across West Africa. Today, Orange Drugs operates in the Pharmaceuticals, Beverages, Personal Care and Lightning industries. Tony Ezenna’s “soap noodles” factory in Onitsha, Anambra State, manufactures the popular “Delta Soap” that’s known to many homes in Nigeria. In 2014, Tony Ezenna’s daughter, Uchenna Ezenna, got married in a flamboyant wedding that was said to cost over 150 million Naira.
