Kyari Bukar is a businessman cum politician in Nigeria and co-founder of the Trans-Sahara Investment Corporation. He served as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Central Securities Clearing System Plc (CSCS) from September 2011 to December 2016, where he was regarded as an instrumental figure in the transformation of CSCS from an entity that held a dysfunctional culture to a successful organization. Before joining the  CSCS,  Kyari Bukar served as the Chief Executive Officer of ValuCard Nigeria Plc (now Unified Payments Plc) owned by a consortium of Nigerian Banks and Visa Inc to promote the deployment and adoption of Visa products in Nigeria. Kyari Bukar spent his early career years at the well-known Hewlett Packard, California, USA, where he grew through the ranks to become the Worldwide Technical Marketing Programme Manager before his return to Nigeria. He was also involved in the development and manufacturing of many HP products, including inkjet technology products, hp laptops and some of the later scientific calculators. He has served in leading roles in many prominent companies in Nigeria such as Fidelity Bank and Chams Plc and is currently the Chairman of Equity Assurance Plc, and the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG). He is also the Independent Director at CRC Credit Bureau Limited since August 2017. Kyari Bukar represented the Organized Private Sector in the Nigerian National Conference in 2014 where he served in the Committee in charge of Economy, Trade and Investment. Today, Kyari Bukar is one of the top business leaders within Nigeria promoting the private sector and giving advice and insight to business and career advancement to aspiring leaders around the country. He is also a political aspirant currently campaigning to be the Governor of his state in Nigeria.
